The Russell Home for Atypical Children in South Orlando has been in continuous operation for over 50 years without any government support. The Russell Home is the only private, non-profit facility of its kind for severely handicapped children in Central Florida.

On June 4th, 2003, Mrs. Vantrease "Grandma" Russell passed away. This great lady will be sorely missed but never forgotten. Her legacy continues to this day in the children that come to know "The Russell Home" as their home. Please help support the efforts of the staff that have dedicated their lives to continue that dream that "Grandma Russell" loved and with your past support, made a reality.

Many have asked how they can help us continue Grandma Russell's mission of caring for our loving children.
